Programs

Camp’s educational program provides the teenagers with Jewish modes of thought and tools that are relevant for coping with the needs of the individual and society and that encourage efforts towards social impact. The programs cover the full age range (11-17 years old), and the content progresses in level from year to year.

The program is adapted to each age group and progresses as they go through every stage at camp. (The age range is from 11-17 years old)

Each age group has its own summer theme, they go through activities getting to know different aspects of the Israeli society and Jewish culture.

6^th grade – Roots – campers will get exposed to the different backgrounds in the Israeli society and in their group. They do so in a fun and engaging way in order to meet different rituals and traditions.

7^th grade – Community – campers will get to know the different communities in Israel and in our camp community.

8^th grade – Leadership – Campers will have the chance to learn about leadership (what does it mean to be a leader? Who’s a leader in your personal life?) and experience hands-on about different styles of leadership.

9^th grade – Religious and state relations – Campers in this age group will learn about the conflict between religion and state in Israel, they will try to come up with different solutions and will get the opportunity to form an opinion on the different issues we deal with in Israel specifically .

10^th-11^th grades – Conflicts in the Israeli and Jewish society – Conflicts in the Israeli and Jewish society – campers will get to deepen their knowledge about different conflicts in the Israeli and Jewish society through meeting speakers from different parts of the Jewish people (ex. Ultra-orthodox speaker), volunteer and discussing the different effects and solutions those conflicts have on us

!During each session we leave camp twice for day trips

First-day trip – we are going on an adventurous and fun trip so we can get to know each other better and have some fun in the Israeli sun

Elective trip – you can choose one of four trip options! How do you want to experience your summer? Climbing? Surfing? Cooking? And more

During camp we celebrate a joint Israeli Shabbat together. Prior to Shabbat day, the participants are engaged in unique activities, exploring the different values and complex meanings of this special day. Together, they decide how to honor the Shabbat and respect each other’s different way of observing the Shabbat, gaining a better understanding of how orthodox and secular Jews can accept and recognize each other’s traditions.

At camp we allow each camper to choose how they want to design their experience at camp. Through a choice-based programming, we allow our campers to stick to their lifestyle or try new things! We offer three prayers a day at camp, the campers have the choice between taking an active part of the prayers or having a discussion group or a sports activity. The value of choosing your own lifestyle and activities at camp is one of your value pillars
